RPF CONSTABLE Exam Pattern
RPF Constable exam is conducted in different phases. There are four stages of the exam, i.e., Computer-based test (CBT), Physical Measurement Test (PET), and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). To clear the exam, candidates must qualify all these phases to reach the final level of the selection process. Below is given the exam pattern of the RPF Constable exam for the year 2020.
Stage 1: Computer-based test
The first stage of clearing the RPF Constable exam is the Computer-based online test. A candidate has to appear for the computer-based online test to clear the constable exam.
- The duration of the test is 90 minutes and there is no provision of sectional timing.
- The questions that come in the test are based on topics like General awareness and Science, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
- All questions are compulsory in the paper. Every correct answer will fetch you 1 mark.
- The policy of negative marking is followed in the computer-based online test. 1/3rd marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The question paper will be made available in Hindi and English along with in different regional languages, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi.
- The level of questions asked in the paper will be of the Class 10th level.

Stage 2: PET/PMT
The second stage of the RPF Constable recruitment process is PET/ PMT. The candidates who clear the computer-based online test are called for the Physical Measurement Test (PET) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Both of these tests are of qualifying in nature but candidates are required to qualify all the sections.
